Joe becomes obsessed with different women he meets at a party, in an elevator, at a diner. Joe, as a rock star, gives a speech to a college graduating class. Joe uses technological gizmos to astound a primitive tribe on the Amazon, who sell off their land and mineral rights and wind up bankrupt and miserable. A woman in a strip club tells Joe about her disturbing dream, which is really a proposition. Joe describes an underwater hotel during a monsoon, a brothel where patrons are offered medical records of the prostitutes, a woman who smears cake batter on her breasts and plays the piano and another who uses a Nordic-track in front of a TV showing winter snow scenes.
