Jason Hurtienne (verified owner) – :
Another Country is the story of a young Jewish man that ignores his mother’s wishes and falls in love with a Muslim he believes looks like a princess. The journey of these two forbidden lovers will draw you deeply into their conflicting religions and belief, with love trumping all. A love story, but one done with the truth of life’s consequences. Almost a three hour series, I consider it to be one of Joe Frank’s best works and an absolute must have for your collection.
Frans Goddijn – :
Among many favorites (like Debi Mae at Burning Man) this one is probably the most beautiful. Is Joe’s world lacking all affection or is it actually permeated with love but with people unable to grasp it? I would also buy the text as a book to cherish and it could be a mesmerizing film as well, with parts of Joe Frank’s voice over lifted from these three recordings. I enjoy taking long evening walks, with headphones on, and listening to Joe Frank stories and this great adventure in three parts guarantee a riveting listening trip.
